Friends of Caladesi and Honeymoon Island State Parks

Full Description:

Friends of the Island Parks is a volunteer citizens organization that sponsors events, raises funds, and supports the goals of the Gulf Islands GEOpark. Our main focus is the support of Caladesi Island State Park and Honeymoon Island State Park. -- Meetings are held the the third and fourth Tuesdays of each month. (The board meeting is the 3rd Tuesday and the general meeting is held on the 4th Tuesday. Refreshments are served and interesting presentations and special activities are held during the general meetings.) Board meetings: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. -- General meetings: 7:00 p.m to 8:30 p.m. -- Meeting Location: Meetings are held at the Honeymoon Island Rotary Centennial Nature Center. (1st right past the park entrance) On occasion meetings are held elswhere for special events. Please call 727-738-2908 from 9am t0 5pm, or see meeting iinfo on our WEBSITE: Friends of the Island Parks -- All meetings are always open to the public, and park entrance fee is waived for those arriving in time for the meetings.
