MAY 23 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. Meet Team Coast Guard at Dunedin Marina Park
Free Family Event and Boating Safety Program “Suddenly in Command”, Games for all, Vessel Safety Checks
Come meet your Team Coast Guard, see our boats, and enjoy games and fun for all ages.
DunedinCoast Guard Auxiliary will offer a free boating safety primer to help boaters to "be prepared" as part of the National Safe Boating Week kickoff on Sunday May 23^rd,  12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Dunedin Marina park. 

Participants are welcome to bring the whole family to enjoy the event activities including games and tattoos for the children, free vessel safety checks and the boating safety primer.  

The ½ hour "Suddenly in Command" primer for adults and youths starts at 2:00 p.m. with topics such as: what causes boating mishaps and how to minimize them, how to handle emergencies, tips for the new boater, what to do if your captain falls over and you're suddenly in command.  

Registration is requested for the primer and vessel safety checks but walkups are welcome.
