CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS AT THE LEEPA-RATTNER MUSEUM OF ART The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art will host several special programs during the month of December to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season.
HOLIDAY FOOD BASKET

The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art will grant free admission to the museum in exchange for two canned or dry foods. LRMA will give the donations to the food pantry of the Shepherd Center of Tarpon Springs; food items containing protein are preferred.
HOLIDAY SALE AT ISABELLE’S MUSEUM STORE
Throughout December
Isabelle’s Museum Store will have deep discounts on a variety of items beginning December 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. An assortment of merchandise including unique books, original artwork, jewelry and decorative items for the home will be on sale.
THEATER
Plaza Suite by Neil Simon presented by the Avenue Players Theatre
The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art and the Avenue Players Theatre of Tarpon Springs will present Acts I and III of Neil Simon’s 1968 play Plaza Suite. Performances will be held in the Museum Auditorium and the cost is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Complementary docent tours of the Museum and refreshments will be offered 30 minutes before each show. Talk Back with cast and crew and a drawing for a holiday gift will follow each performance. Tickets may be purchased in advance through the Museum. For further information call (727) 712-5762.

St. Petersburg College’s Tarpon Springs Campus art students will be having their end-of-the-semester Student Charrette in the Ellis Foundation Art Education Center (Fine Arts Wing). Admission is free.
MUSICAL CONCERT
Friday, December 19, 7:30-9 p.m.
The Magic of Christmas by St. Petersburg College’s Madrigalians
The award-winning SPC Madrigalians will perform a varied selection of songs and carols and guests are invited to sing-a-long; song sheets will be provided. The benefit concert will be held in the Fine Arts Lobby and a holiday reception will follow. A donation of $6 is suggested.

A Christmas Carol presented by the Pinellas Opera League
A ballet version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, a production of the Northern Ballet Theater of England, will be shown in the Museum Auditorium and admission is free.
The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art is located just west of U.S. Highway 19 at 600 Klosterman Road, on the Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Petersburg College. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, with extended hours until 9 p.m. on Thursday. Sunday hours are from 1-5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free to children and students with ID. Sunday admission is free and docent tours are offered at 2 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays and major holidays. Please call ahead for information or directions (727) 712-5762.
