Any suggestions for a new business idea for city of Dunedin
I currently own a home in Dunedin and will be relocating from up North to become a perment resident in the next few months. I would like to open a new business to go along with my new move. Something new and exciting. What can it be???

Chris, congrats on making the decision to make Dunedin your new home. Here\'s a idea to consider that would place you on the leading edge of moving Dunedin to the head of the line when it comes to protecting our little piece of paradise.
Often times solutions to concerns such as affordable housing, sustainability, saving, more disposable income only need a passionate advocate.Take a look at this video The695Video
Now, imagine the cooperation of our city leaders in implementing a citywide 'zipcar' type franchise here in Dunedin. This is very similar to what has been in the newpaper this week about USF. Be sure to visit zipcar.com
Imagine a little more...and think about disolving the Dunedin Country Club Golf Course and consolidating it with the adjacent St Andrews Links which is also city owned. Locate the zip hub and light commerce near or on the existing clubhouse. Imagine how far this implementation will take Dunedin into the front a truly walkable cities, cities where you really do not need to own a car!
What do you think? (SPONSOR 07/24/09 8:15am) REPLY
