Dunedin Country Club had its best deals during summer after/around noon. Tarpon Springs Municipal Golf Course is pretty reasonable all year round (cheaper, of course, during the summer).
As for food, I just saw that Hogfish Grill (on Keene & Gulf to Bay in Clearwater) offers $4-$5 dinners between 4 and 5pm. Not sure which days of the week this applies to. (yacky 01/14/06 6:54pm) REPLY
Don't overlook St Andrew's Link on Palm Blvd. A coupon is available right here. Be advised Dunedin Country Club (golf course) is a PRIVATE affair. It may nor meet the economical criteria. I do not think they allow visitors to enter the dining facilities either. (SPONSOR 01/17/06 10:37am) REPLY
Dunedin CC is NOT a private affair and it is a very nice place to golf and dine. Anyone can make a tee time at the club up to 5 days in advance, and a pass to the grill room is included in the package. The pass is good for the day one makes a tee time and allows one to eat and drink on a cash basis. The members can dine there every day, attend evening functions, use the card rooms and the member golfers have guaranteed tee times for leagues.
